Here is all the info you will need to be booked at our venue.
WHO WE ARE
We are part of Intersect Church. First and most importantly, we are here to serve our Lord and savior Jesus Christ by sharing the hope we have in him. We are in an old 3 screen movie theater. Our venue has its own theater. We book lots of Christian bands. We also book non Christian bands. We believe in being open to everyone.
LOCATION
We are located at 529 Main St in Vincennes Indiana. OUR TIME ZONE IS EASTERN. Please make sure to compensate for time changes. We are right on the border of the CENTRAL time zone. Load in is always at 5pm at the back doors unless we agree on something different. We load through the back doors via the alley. You can't miss them. They are huge and red. Our alley is right on the edge of a gas station. There is plenty of room to park without blocking the alley.
CONTRACTS
To be officially booked, I must have our contract returned. I will send it to any email you prefer. I send them as a jpeg file. They must be printed, signed, and emailed back. You can snail mail them, but email is very much preferred. If you need to fax it, just let me know and we can make it happen. I also ask for a cell phone number for each band to be able to stay in touch for the show. Our contract is short, easy, and painless.
PUBLICITY
We do advertise. We use myspace, facebook, and fliers. Remember, it is still your responsibility to at least get online and try your best to gather fans! We also ask that each band/performer give us the ability to put 1 track on our music player. This IS NOT required, but would be helpful in us supporting your show.
MERCH
We do not have tables for merch. You are free to put it up in the lobby or back of the venue. You will need an extension cord if you want light on your table. We do not ask for any merch profit.
CONTENT
All bands must keep their performance CLEAN. Detailed rules are in the contract. Remember we are a ministry and part of a church. We reserve the right to pull the plug for breaking this rule.
PA
We may only mic the vocals for some shows. We may use a larger PA and mic everything. Just ask about your date and I will let you know. Our venue is soundproofed very well; so either way you will sound good.
SHOWTIME
We have a 20'x20'x4' stage. Our stage has outlets in the front for convienient power to guitarists etc. Our crowds are usually open to all types of music. So, no matter what you play, you should be well recieved. Set times are usually 30 min unless agreed otherwise.
